Mahmood Rahman (born August 22, 1982) is a talented Pakistani musician. He is best known as a guitarist. He used to be a member of the rock band Overload, which was based in Lahore.

His Family Background
Mahmood Rahman comes from a family with a rich history. His grandfather, Justice S. A. Rahman, was an important judge. He was involved in the movement to create Pakistan. He even served as the Chief Justice of Pakistan in 1968.
Mahmood's father, Asad Rahman, was a journalist. He also worked as a human rights activist. His mother, Tanvir Rahman, is an artist and a film producer. Mahmood is married to the famous actress and singer Meesha Shafi. Her mother is actress Saba Hameed. Meesha's brother, Faris Shafi, is also an actor and singer.
Mahmood's Music Journey
Mahmood Rahman began his music career in 2003. He started as a guitarist for the popular singer Atif Aslam. He played guitar on two of Atif Aslam's number one albums. These albums were Jal Pari and Meri Kahani.
Later, Mahmood decided to join the band Overload. He released one album with them called Pichal Pairee. He also helped create music for the movie The Reluctant Fundamentalist. He composed and produced the main song, "Dhol Bajay Ga." Mahmood has also worked with the band Noori. Currently, he plays music with Meesha Shafi and Ali Azmat.

Besides music, Mahmood Rahman is also involved in sports. He is the President of the PAKMMA Fighting Alliance. This is Pakistan's biggest and most successful organization for Mixed martial arts (MMA). MMA is a sport where fighters use different types of martial arts.
The PAKMMA Fighting Alliance works with ONE FC. ONE FC is Asia's largest MMA promotion. It has many viewers across Asia. In Pakistan, PAKMMA helps new fighters develop their skills. They also provide exciting live shows for audiences. Their goal is to help Pakistani fighters compete on the big stage in ONE FC.
