Maicel D. Malone-Wallace is an amazing American athlete who used to compete in track and field. She was born on June 12, 1969, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Maicel was especially good at the 400 meters race. One of her biggest achievements was winning a gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. She was part of the United States team that won the 4 × 400 meters relay race.

Before becoming an Olympic champion, Maicel was a star athlete at Arizona State University. She ran for the Arizona State Sun Devils track and field team. In 1990, she won the 400 meters race at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The next year, in 1991, she also won the 4 × 400 meter relay at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships.
