Maicel D. Malone-Wallace (born June 12, 1969) is a former American track and field athlete. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. Maicel was a very fast runner, specializing in the 400 meters race.
One of her biggest achievements was winning a gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She was part of the United States women's 4 x 400 meters relay team.

Early Running Career
Maicel Malone-Wallace showed her talent early on. She ran for the Arizona State Sun Devils track and field team in college.
College Success
In 1990, she won the 400 meters race at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The next year, in 1991, she also won the 4 x 400 meter relay at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships. These were big wins in college sports.
