Malibu at Harbour Front is a tall apartment building located at 600 Fleet Street in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It's a type of building called a condominium, where people own their own apartments.
This building is one of many new condos in the Fort York Neighbourhood in Toronto's city center. Malibu is close to other interesting buildings like the Tip Top Lofts and CityPlace.
A Special Statue Outside
In November 2008, a special piece of public art was revealed at the Malibu building. This art is a monument, which is like a big statue, honoring the War of 1812.
The idea for this monument came from Douglas Coupland, a famous author from Vancouver. He also designed a park nearby in CityPlace.
The statue shows two giant toy soldiers. One is a gold soldier from the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, standing tall and looking victorious. The other is a silver American soldier, who has fallen over. This statue is meant to show the British victory in the War of 1812.
