The Manitoba Agricultural Museum is a special place in Austin, Manitoba, Canada. It's all about collecting old farm machines and buildings from the year 1900 and even earlier! Imagine stepping back in time to see how farming used to be.
This museum is huge, covering about 50 acres (that's like 38 football fields!). It has more than 500 pieces of old farm equipment. Plus, there's a whole pioneer village with over 20 buildings, all filled with old tools and items. It's actually Canada's biggest collection of vintage farm gear! When you visit, you can also find places to camp, have a picnic, and even a souvenir shop to grab a memento.
Throughout the year, the museum offers different tours and hands-on activities. The biggest event is the Annual Manitoba Threshermen's Reunion and Stampede, which happens near the end of July. It's a super fun time to see everything in action!

What You Can See and Do
The Threshermen's Reunion is a fantastic event where you can see a huge collection of old steam and gas tractors. These are the machines that helped farmers long ago. You'll also see other equipment used on early farms.
Daily Parade of Power
Every afternoon during the reunion, there's a big parade! You can watch about 12 steam engines and dozens of old "gas" tractors and other farm machines roll by. It's like a moving history lesson!
Old-Time Sawmill and Food
After the parade, you can explore the fairgrounds. One cool thing to see is an old steam-powered sawmill. It cuts big logs into planks, just like they did to build pioneer homes. When it's time for supper, head to the Corn and Barley Corral. Here, a steam tractor is used to steam corn for everyone to enjoy.
Evening Fun
Every evening at the reunion, there's a rodeo where you can watch exciting cowboy action. After the rodeo, there's a free dance for everyone to join in and have fun!
Manitoba Amateur Radio Museum
Did you know there's another cool museum right on the same grounds? It's called the Manitoba Amateur Radio Museum. This museum collects and fixes old communication equipment. It has over 3,700 items on display! You can learn about how people used to talk to each other over long distances using radio. Their special operating call signs are VE4ARM and VE4MTR.
