Manolo Gabbiadini (born 26 November 1991) is an Italian professional footballer. He plays as a striker for UAE Pro League club Al-Nasr and the Italy national team.
Gabbiadini started his career with Atalanta in 2010. He then played for several Italian clubs like Cittadella, Bologna, Sampdoria, and Napoli. In 2017, he moved to England to play for Southampton. He returned to Sampdoria in 2019 before joining Al-Nasr in 2023. Manolo has also played for Italy's national youth teams and the senior national team.

Club Career Highlights
Starting at Atalanta
Manolo Gabbiadini grew up playing football in the youth teams of Bolgare and then Atalanta. He made his first appearance in Italy's top league, Serie A, for Atalanta on 14 March 2010. He came on as a substitute in a match against Parma.
Loan to Cittadella
In 2010, Gabbiadini joined Serie B team Cittadella on a loan deal. He scored five goals in 27 games during the 2010–11 Serie B season. After this loan, he went back to Atalanta. In the 2011–12 Serie A season, he scored his first Serie A goal on 25 March 2012 against Bologna.
Time with Juventus and Bologna
In August 2012, Juventus signed Gabbiadini. However, he was immediately loaned to Bologna for the season. He had a good year at Bologna, scoring seven goals in 31 matches during the 2012–13 Serie A season.
First Spell at Sampdoria
On 9 July 2013, Gabbiadini joined Sampdoria. He played for the club during the 2013–14 Serie A season. In his first season with Sampdoria, he scored ten goals in 35 appearances, which was his personal best at the time.
Playing for Napoli

In January 2015, Gabbiadini moved to Napoli. He made his debut on 11 January against his former team Juventus. His first goal for Napoli came on 1 February in a 2–1 win against Chievo. On 19 March 2016, he scored two goals in a big 6–0 victory over Bologna.
Joining Southampton
On 31 January 2017, Gabbiadini signed a contract with Southampton in England. He quickly made an impact, scoring his first goal for the club on his debut on 4 February 2017. This was in a Premier League match against West Ham.

He continued his great start by scoring two more goals in his second game against Sunderland. In the 2017 EFL Cup Final on 26 February, he scored two goals against Manchester United. This brought his total to five goals in his first three matches for Southampton. He became the first Southampton player to score in his first four matches for the club. Because of his excellent performances in February, he won the Premier League's PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.
Return to Sampdoria
On 11 January 2019, Gabbiadini moved back to Italy. He signed with his former club Sampdoria for a second time. He played for Sampdoria until 2023.
Playing for Al-Nasr
On 29 July 2023, Manolo Gabbiadini signed with the Emirati club Al-Nasr. He continues to play for them today.
International Career
Youth Teams
Manolo Gabbiadini played for Italy's national youth teams. On 17 November 2010, he made his debut for the Italian under-21 squad. He scored his first goal for the U21 team on 29 March 2011 against Germany. He also scored three goals in a match against Liechtenstein in 2011. He was part of the team that reached the final of the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championships.
Senior Team
On 15 August 2012, Gabbiadini made his debut for the Italian senior team. This was in a friendly match against England. On 17 November 2015, he scored his first international goal for Italy. It was in a friendly home match against Romania.

Manolo Gabbiadini is a skilled and versatile forward. He can play in different attacking positions, like a main striker, a supporting forward, or even a winger. He prefers to play on the right side. From there, he can cut inside and shoot with his strong left foot.
He is a smart player who moves well on the field. He has good control of the ball and quick feet. These skills, along with his strength, help him keep the ball and pass to teammates. Gabbiadini is good at both creating goals and scoring them. He has a powerful and accurate shot, especially from outside the penalty area. He is also good at taking free kicks.
Personal Life
Manolo Gabbiadini's older sister, Melania, is also a professional footballer. She plays as a forward and has played for the Italy women's national football team. Manolo has said that his sister was an important influence on him. On 17 June 2017, Gabbiadini married his long-time partner Martina Rubini.
