María Parrado is a talented Spanish singer born on April 28, 2001. She became famous after winning the first season of The Voice Kids Spain in 2014. Since then, she has released several albums and even received a nomination for a Kids' Choice Award!

About María Parrado
Early Life and TV Shows
María started singing at a young age. When she was eight, she appeared on a TV show called Cántame una canción on the Spanish channel Telecinco. After that, she also performed on another TV show called Menuda noche on Canal Sur.
Winning The Voice Kids
In 2014, when María was 12 years old, she won the first season of La Voz Kids. This is the Spanish version of The Voice Kids TV show. She was part of singer Malú's team during the competition.
During the final of La Voz Kids, María sang two songs. These songs were "Quién" by Pablo Alborán and "Lucía" by Joan Manuel Serrat. Both songs were quickly released as singles and became popular on the Spanish music charts.
First Albums and Movie Songs
A few weeks after winning La Voz Kids, María Parrado released her first album. It was simply called María Parrado and was produced by Universal Music Spain. This album quickly reached number 2 on the Spanish album chart. It stayed on the chart for a long time, showing how popular it was!
Later in 2014, María recorded songs for the Spanish version of the movie Annie. She sang the Spanish versions of the songs that the main character, Annie, sings in the original English movie. The movie came out in Spanish cinemas in January 2015.
In June 2015, María released her second album, which she named April. This album also did very well, reaching number six on the Spanish national album chart. It stayed on the charts for 17 weeks.
Recent Projects and Awards
In 2016, María became a judge on a new talent show called Fenómeno Fan. This show was broadcast on Canal Sur.
She also sang the Spanish version of the main song for the Disney animated movie Moana. This movie was released in Spain on December 2, 2016.
María was nominated for a Kids' Choice Award in 2017. She was nominated for the "Favorite Spanish Music Act" award.
In 2018, she released her third album, titled Alas. This album was special because it included a song that María herself had written.
María's Family
María's mother, Mariló Ávila, is a psychologist. Her father, Salvador Parrado Díaz, passed away in 2017.
