Pablo Moreno de Alborán Ferrándiz (born on May 31, 1989), known as Pablo Alborán, is a famous Spanish musician, singer, and songwriter. He has released many successful albums and songs. His music is released by Warner Music Spain, which he joined in 2013.
One of his first big hits was "Solamente Tú" from his first album, Pablo Alborán, in 2011. This song was number one in Spain for two weeks! His first album also reached number one, making him the first solo artist in Spain to do so with a debut album since 1998. Pablo Alborán was even nominated for a Best New Artist award early in his career.
His second album, Tanto (2012), had popular songs like "Quién" and "El Beso". His third album, Terral (2014), also had chart-topping songs such as "Por Fin" and "Pasos de Cero". He went on a huge concert tour called Tour Terral, performing in Europe, North America, and South America. In 2017, he released Prometo, which was very successful. His recent albums include Vértigo (2020) and La Cuarta Hoja (2022).
Pablo Alborán has won many awards, including a Goya Award for Best Original Song and twelve LOS40 Music Awards. He has also been nominated for four Grammy Awards and twenty-nine Latin Grammy Awards.

Pablo Alborán: A Music Star
Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Pablo Alborán showed a love for music from a young age. He learned to play many instruments like the piano, classical guitar, flamenco guitar, and acoustic guitar. He also took singing lessons in Málaga and Madrid.
When he was just 12 years old in 2002, he wrote his first songs, "Amor de Barrio" and "Desencuentro." These songs later appeared on his first album ten years later. He first performed with a Flamenco band in a restaurant in Málaga. People called him El Blanco Moreno because he had very pale skin, and Moreno is his family name.
Later, Pablo met music producer Manuel Illán. He recorded a demo tape, which included a cover of a song by Diana Navarro. Diana Navarro was very impressed by his voice and became his music guide.
Rising to Fame
To prepare for his first album, Pablo Alborán wrote 40 songs. He chose the best ones for his debut album, Pablo Alborán. While recording, he uploaded some of his songs to YouTube. These videos quickly became very popular, getting millions of views. Even famous singer Kelly Rowland was amazed by his voice!
His first single, "Solamente Tú" (meaning Only You), was released online in Spain in October 2010. His first album followed in February 2011. Both the song and the album were a huge success. They topped the Spanish music charts for many weeks. The album won several awards, including RTVE's Album of the Year for 2011. It became Spain's best-selling album that year.
Pablo Alborán started his first world tour on May 27, 2011, in Madrid. He performed in many Latin American countries, like Argentina, Chile, and Mexico. After his success, he released his first live album, En Acústico, in November 2011. This album had acoustic versions of his songs and some new ones. The song "Perdóname" (Forgive Me) was re-recorded with Portuguese singer Carminho. This version also reached number one on the Spanish singles chart.
In December 2011, Pablo Alborán won the Best New Act award at Los Premios 40 Principales. Both his albums, Pablo Alborán and En Acústico, were among Spain's top-selling albums of 2011.
Albums and Big Hits
In September 2012, Pablo Alborán released "Tanto" as the first song from his album of the same name. The album Tanto came out in November 2012. It sold incredibly well in Spain and was the best-selling album there in both 2012 and 2013. This album featured two more number-one songs in Spain: "El Beso" (The Kiss) and "Quién" (Who).
His third studio album, Terral, was released in November 2014. This album also reached number one in Spain, making it his fourth album in a row to do so. It was the best-selling album in Spain in 2014.
In April 2016, he released "Se Puede Amar" from his upcoming fourth album. He also toured Central America that year. In August, he re-released "Dónde está el Amor" with Brazilian singer Tiê. This song was part of a TV show soundtrack.
After a two-year break, Pablo Alborán announced his fourth studio album, Prometo, in September 2017. He released two songs from it on the same day: "Saturno" and "No Vaya a Ser". "Saturno" was a classic ballad, while "No Vaya a Ser" explored electronic and African sounds. Prometo was released on November 17, 2017, and quickly became number one in Spain.
His fifth album, Vértigo, came out in 2020. His sixth album, La Cuarta Hoja, was released in 2022.
