Maranchón is a small town, also known as a municipality, located in the province of Guadalajara in Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It sits in a beautiful part of the country. In 2018, about 222 people lived there.
Maranchón is home to one of the largest wind farms in Europe! This huge farm sits on top of the Sierra de Solorio mountains. It uses wind power to create clean energy. Local cattle herders in Maranchón have a special way of speaking called 'La Migaña'.
