Marc Allan Feldman (born October 7, 1959, died June 22, 2016) was an American doctor, political commentator, and activist. An activist is a person who works to bring about social or political change. He worked as a doctor at the Cleveland Clinic for many years, starting in 1998. He also owned a small business called Openivo, Inc. Dr. Feldman was also the president of the Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society.
Running for President
In 2015, Marc Allan Feldman decided to run for President of the United States in the 2016 election. He ran as a member of the Libertarian Party.
Why He Ran
His main reason for running was to show how money can affect politics. He named his campaign "Votes Not For Sale." To prove his point, he would not accept any donations larger than $5. This was his way of showing that he believed votes should not be bought.
Later Life
On June 22, 2016, Marc Allan Feldman passed away in Brook Park, Ohio. He was 56 years old. His death was caused by a heart condition.
