Marc René Antoine Victurnien de Beauvau (born March 29, 1816, and passed away on March 30, 1883) was an important French politician. He came from a very old and respected noble family called the House of Beauvau. Being noble meant his family had a special high rank in society for many generations. He was also known as a Grandee of Spain, which was a very high title of nobility in Spain, given by the King or Queen.

Marc de Beauvau was born in Paris, France, in a grand house called the Hôtel de Beauvau. He lived during a time of many changes in France. As a politician, he was involved in the government and helped make decisions for his country.
His Family Life
Marc de Beauvau was married two times during his life. His family grew quite large with children from both marriages.
His first marriage was on November 26, 1840. He married Marie Catherine Augustine d'Aubusson. Sadly, she passed away in 1862. Together, they had three children:
- Jeanne Victurnienne (1848-1924), who later married Count Robert de Mun.
- Isabelle Marie Blanche Charlotte Victurnienne (1852-1875), who married Agénor, Duke of Gramont.
- Louise (1861-1885), who married Bertrand de Blacas d'Aulps.
After his first wife passed away, Marc de Beauvau married again on September 30, 1875. His second wife was Marie Adèle de Gontaut-Biron. They had two children together:
- Henriette (1876-1931), who married Charles d'Harcourt.
- Charles Louis de Beauvau (1878-1942), who also became a Prince of Beauvau.
