Mário José dos Reis Emiliano (born May 23, 1957 – died June 15, 2020), known as Marinho, was a Brazilian football player. He was famous for playing as a right winger. Later in his career, he also worked as an assistant manager for the club Bangu.

Marinho was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He became a professional footballer, which means he played football as his job. He was known for his skill as a right winger. This position is usually on the side of the field, where players run fast and cross the ball.

Marinho's Football Journey

Marinho started his youth career at Atlético Mineiro in 1974. He played for their main team from 1976 to 1979. He then moved to other clubs like América-SP.

One of the most important parts of his career was playing for Bangu. He played there for many years, from 1983 to 1987, and then returned several times. He also played for Botafogo from 1988 to 1989. These clubs are well-known in Brazilian football.

Marinho also had the honor of playing for his country, Brazil.
