Markus Stockhausen (born 2 May 1957) is a talented German musician and composer. He is known for playing the trumpet and creating music. His work often mixes different styles, like jazz and classical music. He has also worked with his father, Karlheinz Stockhausen, who was a famous composer.

About Markus Stockhausen
Markus Stockhausen was born in Cologne, Germany. His father, Karlheinz Stockhausen, was a well-known composer. His mother, Doris Stockhausen, was a pianist and teacher.
When he was four years old, Markus appeared in his father's play called Originale. He started learning piano at age six. By the time he was twelve, he began playing the trumpet. He went to a special music school in Cologne to continue his studies.
Markus's Music and Travels
Markus Stockhausen has performed in many concerts and music festivals around the world. He has traveled to different countries with the Goethe Institute, which promotes German culture.
In November 2008, he performed a new piece of music for the first time. It was called Freedom Variations and was written by an Italian composer named Lorenzo Ferrero.
His music group, the Markus Stockhausen Group, released an album called Tales on August 27, 2021. The group includes Jeroen van Vliet on piano, Christian Thomé on drums, and Jörg Brinkmann on cello.
