Marlon Lamont Wayans (born July 23, 1972) is a famous American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He is well-known for working with his brother Shawn Wayans. They starred together in the TV show The Wayans Bros. from 1995 to 1999.
Marlon Wayans has also been in many popular comedy movies. These include Scary Movie (2000), Scary Movie 2 (2001), and White Chicks (2004). Other films he worked on are Little Man (2006) and Dance Flick (2009). He also showed his acting skills in serious roles, like the drama film Requiem for a Dream (2000).
Besides acting, Marlon Wayans helped create What the Funny, an online place for comedy. He also made a TV show called Funniest Wins in 2014. In 2017, he starred in his own TV show, Marlon, which ran for two seasons.

Marlon Wayans's Early Life
Marlon Wayans was born in New York City on July 23, 1972. His mother, Elvira Alethia Green, was a homemaker and social worker. His father, Howell Stouten Wayans, managed a supermarket. Marlon grew up in the housing projects of New York City. He is the youngest of ten children in his family.
He has many famous siblings, including Nadia, Shawn, Keenen Ivory, Damon, Dwayne, and Kim. Marlon went to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City. This school is famous from the movie Fame. After high school, he studied at Howard University in Washington, D.C. for two years.
Marlon Wayans's Career Journey
Marlon Wayans started his career appearing with his brothers and sisters. From 1992 to 1993, he was on the sketch comedy show In Living Color. Later, from 1995 to 1999, he co-starred with his brother Shawn Wayans in The Wayans Bros. on The WB network.
Marlon was almost cast as Robin in the 1992 movie Batman Returns. However, the filmmakers decided the movie already had too many characters. He was then officially chosen for the role in the 1995 movie Batman Forever. But when the director changed, his part was recast, and Chris O'Donnell played Robin instead. Even so, Marlon still receives payments for that role. In 2021, a comic book called Batman '89 was released. It used Marlon's likeness for Robin, with his permission.
Marlon Wayans also produced the first two Scary Movie films. He and Shawn were writers and co-stars in these movies, released in 2000 and 2001. In 2000, he acted in the movie Requiem for a Dream and Dungeons & Dragons. That same year, he and Shawn hosted the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. Marlon also produced a Nickelodeon cartoon series called Thugaboo. In 2017, he got his own sitcom on NBC, Marlon, which ran for two seasons.
In 2017, Marlon Wayans started a YouTube channel with Shots Studios. He has appeared in videos with other popular creators. In 2020, he signed a deal with HBO Max for new projects.

Marlon Wayans was in a long-term relationship with Angela Zackery from 1992 to 2013. They have two children together. Marlon also has another child with his former girlfriend, Brittany Moreland.
