Marsha Thomason (born 19 January 1976) is a talented actress from England and the United States. She is famous for her roles in many TV shows and movies. You might know her as Sara Evers in Disney's The Haunted Mansion. She also played Nessa Holt in Las Vegas and Naomi Dorrit in the popular show Lost. Later, she became well-known as FBI agent Diana Berrigan in White Collar and DS Jenn Townsend in the British crime series The Bay.

Early Life and Education
Marsha Thomason was born in Moston, Manchester, England. Her father, Peter Thomason, worked in government, and her mother, Phyllis, worked for an electronics company. Marsha went to Holy Trinity Primary School and North Manchester High School for Girls.
She later studied media, theater, and performing arts at Oldham Sixth Form College. Marsha also earned a degree in English from Manchester Metropolitan University. From the age of 13, she loved acting and joined the Oldham Theatre Workshop. There, she took part in many youth theater plays.
Starting Her Acting Career
Marsha Thomason first became known on British TV in 1997. She played a waitress named Sally in the show Pie in the Sky. After that, she appeared in other British shows like Playing the Field and Where the Heart Is. She also had a role in the BBC Three drama Burn It.
Becoming a Star in the U.S.
Marsha soon started acting in the United States. She starred in Disney's movie The Haunted Mansion alongside Eddie Murphy. She also played Brandy in My Baby's Daddy and Victoria in Black Knight.
One of her big roles was Nessa Holt in the TV series Las Vegas. She was a main character for the first two seasons, appearing in 47 episodes.

She played Naomi Dorrit in the mystery TV show Lost. Marsha was already a big fan of the show, and she was excited to join the cast. She first appeared in the third season and continued to be part of the story until the end of the season. She also returned for a few episodes in the fifth season.
Marsha once said that as an actor on Lost, it was hard but also freeing not to know everything about her character's future. She just had to act out the scenes as they were written.
Agent Diana Berrigan in White Collar
Marsha also played FBI Special Agent Diana Berrigan in the popular series White Collar. She appeared in the first episode and returned for the season finale. Later, she became a main cast member for the rest of the series. She even voiced the character Diana in the video game Hitman: Absolution.
Other Notable Roles
Marsha has appeared in many other TV shows, including 2 Broke Girls, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Good Doctor, and SEAL Team. In 2021, she voiced the character Greta in the animated series Castlevania. Since 2022, she has played DS Jenn Townsend, a lead role, in the British crime series The Bay.

On 5 April 2009, Marsha Thomason married Craig Sykes, who works with lighting for films. Their daughter was born in June 2013. Marsha also became a citizen of the United States in 2012.
