Martell T. Webb (born November 10, 1989) is a former American football player. He played as a tight end, a position that combines the skills of a wide receiver and an offensive lineman.

Martell Webb played college football for the Michigan Wolverines football team. Before that, he was a highly talented tight end and wide receiver at Pontiac Northern High School. He was even chosen for the 2006 USA Today All-USA second-team.

After college, he was part of several professional teams. These included the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, and Cleveland Browns.

High School Football Journey

Martell Webb was a standout player in high school. Experts thought he was one of the best tight ends in the country for his age group. He was also highly rated as a wide receiver.

In 2006, he was recognized as one of the top high school football players in the USA. This honor was given by USA Today, a well-known newspaper. He was named to their All-USA second-team as a tight end.

College Career at Michigan

During his time playing for the Michigan Wolverines football team, Martell Webb showed his skills. He caught 9 passes for a total of 111 yards. He also scored 2 touchdowns, which are big plays in football.

Later that year, he joined the New York Jets in September but was released shortly after. In December 2011, he was signed to the practice squad of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A practice squad allows players to train with the team.

In January 2012, Webb signed a contract with the Arizona Cardinals. He was released by them in August 2012. He then joined the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad in November 2012.

In December 2012, the Tennessee Titans signed Martell Webb to their practice squad. He was with them until August 2013. He then had a brief time with the Detroit Lions' practice squad in November 2013. He returned to the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad later that same month.

His final stop in the NFL was with the Cleveland Browns. He signed with them in August 2014 but was released later that month.
