Martin Leslie McGrath (born February 23, 1984) is an Indigenous Australian who used to play Australian rules football. He played in the top league, the AFL, for the Richmond Football Club in 2003. Martin is also related to other famous footballers like Ashley, Toby, and Cory McGrath.
Martin McGrath's Football Journey
Martin McGrath made a big splash in his very first game in 2003! He kicked five goals, which is a fantastic start for any player. However, he only kicked one more goal in his short AFL career. After that season, he was no longer part of the Richmond team.
Playing After the AFL
Even after leaving the AFL, Martin kept playing football. He stayed in Victoria, Australia. He played for clubs like Templestowe in the Eastern Football League. He also played for Lalor in the Diamond Valley Football League.
