Masahito Suzuki spent many years playing professional football in Japan. He was a goalkeeper, which is a very important position on a football team. Goalkeepers are the last line of defense. In 2006, Masahito Suzuki moved to a new team, Cerezo Osaka. This team played in the J1 League, which is the top division in Japan. However, he didn't play many games for Cerezo Osaka that year.
The next year, in 2007, he went on loan to Tokushima Vortis. This meant he played for Tokushima Vortis for one season while still officially belonging to Cerezo Osaka. He played 22 games for Tokushima Vortis in the J2 League.
After his loan spell, he returned to Cerezo Osaka. He stayed with them for two more seasons, in 2008 and 2009. He retired from professional football after the 2009 season. Throughout his career, Masahito Suzuki played a total of 108 league games. He also played in cup competitions.
