Masaki Ogawa, also known as 小川 雅己 (Ogawa Masaki), is a former professional football player and manager from Japan. He was born on April 3, 1975. He played as a defender for many different clubs throughout his career.

Masaki Ogawa's Football Journey
Masaki Ogawa was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. After finishing high school at Shimizu Shogyo High School, he started his professional football career in 1994. He joined Kashima Antlers, a well-known team in Japan.
Playing for Top Teams
At Kashima Antlers, Masaki didn't play much at first. But in June 1997, he moved to Kyoto Purple Sanga. There, he quickly became a regular player, which means he played in most of the team's games as a right side back.
In 1999, he joined Cerezo Osaka. He played many matches that year. However, in 2000, he didn't get to play as much. So, in June 2000, he moved to Shonan Bellmare, a club in the J2 League. He became a regular player there too.
Later Career and Promotion
In 2001, Masaki moved to Mito HollyHock. He played many games in 2001 and became a regular player from 2002 onwards.
In 2004, he joined Thespa Kusatsu, a team in the Japan Football League. He was a regular player there. His team finished in 3rd place in 2004, which helped them get promoted to the J2 League.
In 2006, Masaki moved to Zweigen Kanazawa, a club in the Japanese Regional Leagues. He took on a special role there: he was both a player and the manager of the team. He played his last season in 2007 with FC Osaka, also in the Regional Leagues, before retiring from playing football at the end of that year.
Coaching Career
Masaki Ogawa's coaching career began while he was still playing. In 2006, when he joined Zweigen Kanazawa, he also became the team's manager. He managed the club for one season while also playing on the field. This is known as a "playing manager" role.
