Masao Takada (高田 正夫, Takada Masao) was a Japanese football (soccer) player. He played as a forward, which means he was one of the main players who tried to score goals. He was also a member of the Japan national team.

In May 1925, when Masao Takada was still a student at Kwansei Gakuin University, he got a big chance! He was chosen to play for the Japan national team. This was for a competition called the 1925 Far Eastern Championship Games. The games were held in Manila, a city in the Philippines.

On May 17, he played his very first game for Japan. This is called his "debut." He played against the Philippines. A few days later, on May 20, he played another game against the Republic of China. Unfortunately, Japan lost both of these matches. They lost 0-4 to the Philippines and 0-2 to the Republic of China. In total, Masao Takada played 2 games for Japan in 1925.
