The Maskerchugg River is a small river located in the state of Rhode Island in the U.S.. It flows for about 6 kilometers (or 4 miles). Along its path, there are four dams, which are structures built across the river to control its flow.

Where Does the Maskerchugg River Flow?

The Maskerchugg River begins in a small, unnamed pond in a town called Warwick. This pond is close to where Cowesett Road and Paddock Drive meet. From there, the river flows towards the east, following Cowesett Road.

After a while, it turns and flows southeast, passing by Interstate 95. The river then continues its journey into the town of East Greenwich. Finally, the Maskerchugg River reaches its end at Greenwich Cove, which is on the northern side of the Potowomut Peninsula.

Many roads and bridges cross over the Maskerchugg River. These crossings allow people and cars to get from one side of the river to the other. Here is a list of the main crossings, starting from where the river begins and moving downstream:

A tributary is a smaller stream or river that flows into a larger river. The Maskerchugg River has one named tributary called Dark Entry Brook. Besides Dark Entry Brook, many other smaller, unnamed streams also flow into the Maskerchugg River, adding to its water.
