Massive Monster Mayhem is a super fun TV show for kids that mixes real people with cool computer animation. It's like a game show where kids get to save the world! The show first aired in Canada on Family Channel and in the US on Nicktoons on October 25, 2017. It was created by Artur Spigel and Michael Chaves. Later, it also came to the UK and Ireland on Nicktoons in February 2018.

Saving Earth from Master Mayhem

Every episode kicks off with the evil space villain, Master Mayhem. He's always trying to destroy Earth! To stop him, three brave kids compete in awesome challenges. The winner gets to face off against one of Master Mayhem's giant Monster Superstars. These monsters cause chaos on Earth.

The show features live gameplay where kids face huge Monster Superstars. They compete in futuristic challenges. The goal is to win prizes and save our planet from being destroyed.

When a Monster Superstar appears, an announcer tells you all about them. You learn where they're from, their side jobs, and even their hobbies! Master Mayhem also has funny scenes at his space condo.

How the Game Works

The show has different rounds of futuristic challenges:

The Megalator Challenge

In this round, players go through a futuristic obstacle course. The two players who finish the fastest move on. Different groups are said to build the Megalator in each episode.

The Mega Duel

The two remaining players face off in a duel. The player who scores the most points wins this round. They then move on to the final challenge.

The Mash Down Final Round

The final round takes place in Mega City. Here, the last player must fight a Monster Superstar. They also need to break "Prize Buildings" to collect "Power Pods." These pods are thrown into the "Mega Laser's Mega Reactor." This laser sends the monster back to Master Mayhem's world.

The Mayor of Mega City often tries to promote parts of the city. But the monster usually causes her to get hurt! Before the fight, the player picks a special battle suit. This suit gives them an advantage. They grow to 600 feet tall for the Mash Down!

  • Mega Money Suit: This suit doubles any prizes you win.
  • Mega Ice Suit: Say "Freeze!" and this suit freezes the monster for five seconds.
  • Mega Hammer Suit: Say "HAMMER!" and you can knock down the monster. This helps you find Power Pods.
  • Mega Tank Suit: This suit helps you find two pods. But it also makes you a bit slower.

During the fight, watch out for "Boom Buildings." If these are destroyed, you lose all your prize money! Players can also get a "Mayhem Pod." This pod calls a rival Monster Superstar to fight the main monster for 20 seconds.

If the player beats the monster, breaks prize buildings, and loads the Mega Reactor in time, Earth is saved! The player becomes "Earth's Champion." They win prize money (from $100 to $1,000) and a Massive Monster Mayhem Trophy.

If the monster wins, Master Mayhem spares Earth. But the player must go to the "Chamber of Doom." This is part of a deal Master Mayhem has with the Intergalactic Battle Alliance. Either way, the players are heroes!

Special Highlight Episodes

In some special highlight episodes, the gameplay is different. The Megalator and Mega Duel rounds are skipped. Instead, they show clips from past episodes. The Mash Down is still the final part. But in these episodes, two monsters battle each other. They don't wear suits like the human players. If one monster wins, the losing monster gets zapped by the Mega Laser.

So far, RoBro is the monster who has fought the most in these monster Mashdowns. Macho Cheese and Teensy have both battled RoBro in these special episodes.
