Masuzo Madono (真殿 益蔵, Madono Masuzo) was a Japanese football player. He played as a midfielder. He is known for playing for the Japan national team.
Masuzo Madono's Football Journey
Masuzo Madono was a student at Kwansei Gakuin University when he got a big chance. In May 1925, he was chosen to play for the Japan national team. This was for an important event called the Far Eastern Championship Games. These games were held in Manila, a city in the Philippines.
Playing for Japan
On May 17, 1925, Masuzo Madono played his first game for Japan. This was against the Philippines. A few days later, on May 20, he also played against the Republic of China team.
Sadly, Japan lost both of these matches. They lost 0-4 to the Philippines and 0-2 to the Republic of China. These two games were the only times Masuzo Madono played for the Japan national team.
