Maurizio Arcieri was an Italian singer. He was famous for being part of two cool bands. He sang with the New Dada in the 1960s. Later, he was in the band Krisma during the 1970s and 80s. Maurizio was born on April 30, 1942, in Milan, Italy. He passed away on January 29, 2015, in Varese, Italy.

Starting with The New Dada
In 1967, Maurizio's band, The New Dada, had a big moment. They opened for the famous band the Beatles at a concert in Milan! After that, The New Dada broke up. Some of the band members continued to play music with Maurizio.
Solo Hits and Movies
Maurizio released some songs like "Ballerina" and "Il comizio." He also took part in a big music festival called "Disco per l'Estate." His song "Cinque Minuti e poi..." became a huge hit that year!
This song was also featured in a fun musical movie. The movie was called "Quelli belli siamo noi," which means "We Are the Beautiful Ones." Maurizio acted and sang his songs in this movie. He also appeared on many popular TV shows.
New Sounds and Collaborations
Maurizio released an album called "Maurizio - 1970." Later, he put out "Maurizio - 1975," which was a collection of his cool songs. He also released "Trasparenze," an album where he experimented with new sounds.
Maurizio was chosen for a special project called The Rock Peter and the Wolf. He was the Italian narrator for this album. Many famous musicians from different countries worked on it. These included Brian Eno and Phil Collins.
