Max Caster (born July 31, 1989) is an American professional wrestler and rapper. He is known for his unique style, often rapping to challenge his opponents before his matches. He is signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

In AEW, Max Caster has achieved great success. He is a former AEW World Trios Champion and a former AEW World Tag Team Champion. He was also a popular member of the wrestling group known as The Acclaimed. Caster started his wrestling journey in 2015 and joined AEW in November 2020. He also released his first music album, Critically Acclaimed, Vol.1, in May 2021, under the name Platinum Max.

Max Caster's Wrestling Journey

Starting Out (2015–2020)

Max Caster learned how to wrestle at the Create A Pro Wrestling Academy. His teachers were Brian Myers and Pat Buck. He had his first wrestling match in February 2015. Later that year, in December, he became the very first CAP Champion.

Caster also wrestled for other wrestling companies. He even made a special appearance on a WWE show called Raw in May 2018. For this appearance, he played a character named Frances.

Joining All Elite Wrestling (2020–Present)

Max Caster first appeared in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on June 23, 2020. He teamed up with other wrestlers but lost his first match. Later, he found a new tag team partner, Anthony Bowens. They wrestled together on October 27, 2020, but also lost.

In November 2020, AEW officially signed Max Caster and Anthony Bowens to a five-year contract. They formed a tag team called The Acclaimed. Their first match as The Acclaimed on Dynamite was a win in December 2020. The next week, they challenged The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship but did not win.

The Acclaimed's Rise (2020–2024)

In March 2021, Caster won a match to qualify for a special "ladder match" at a big event called Revolution. However, he did not win the ladder match. He also competed in a "Casino Battle Royale" at Double or Nothing in May 2021 but was eliminated.

In August 2021, a rap Caster performed during his entrance caused some controversy. As a result, he was temporarily removed from AEW shows and independent events. He returned to wrestling in September 2021.

In September 2022, The Acclaimed became fan favorites, meaning the crowd cheered for them. On September 21, 2022, at Grand Slam, The Acclaimed, with their manager Billy Gunn, won the AEW World Tag Team Championship. They held the titles for 140 days before losing them in February 2023.

At All In in August 2023, Caster, Bowens, and Billy Gunn won the AEW World Trios Championship. They held these titles for a record 238 days. In April 2024, they lost the Trios Championship in a special match that combined titles. The Acclaimed then started a rivalry with The Young Bucks. They won a match against The Young Bucks in June 2024 to earn another chance at the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The Acclaimed was also part of Team AEW, which won a "Blood and Guts" match in July 2024. In August 2024, The Acclaimed tried again to win the tag team titles from The Young Bucks at All In but were unsuccessful.

"Best Wrestler Alive" (2024–Present)

Towards the end of 2024 and into early 2025, Max Caster began to change his wrestling personality. He started calling himself the "best wrestler alive" and said he was the leader of The Acclaimed. In January 2025, Caster officially changed his personality to a "heel" (a bad guy in wrestling) and broke up The Acclaimed. This happened after Anthony Bowens chose to side with Billy Gunn instead of him.

After The Acclaimed disbanded, Caster started an "open challenge" series. He wrestled against many different wrestlers but lost to several of them, including Rush, "Hangman" Adam Page, Brody King, Jay White, Konosuke Takeshita, Hook, Mark Briscoe, Hologram, and Daniel Garcia. In April 2025, Caster was defeated by his former Acclaimed teammate, Anthony Bowens, in one of his open challenge matches.
