Early Life and Beginnings
May Milloy was likely born in Dublin, Ireland. However, some reports say she was from Montreal, Canada. She started acting in Montreal around 1896. After that, she moved to the United States to continue her acting career. Her brother, Richard Milloy, was also an actor and performed in vaudeville. He was also said to be from Montreal.
May Milloy's Acting Career
May Milloy appeared in two Broadway plays in 1912. These plays were called The Fatted Calf and The Point of View. She also acted in other shows like My Geraldine in 1896. Later, she toured with Mr. Hopkinson in 1909. This tour included cities like Seattle and San Francisco.
Vaudeville Performances
From 1912 to 1913, May Milloy performed in a show called More Sinned Against Than Usual. This was a "high-class travesty sketch," which means it was a funny, exaggerated performance. She also joined an all-woman vaudeville show called Beauty is Only Skin Deep from 1914 to 1915. Vaudeville was a popular type of entertainment with many different acts. In 1916, she performed with her husband, Ford West, who was also an actor.

May Milloy married actor Ford West in 1915. They got married in Minnesota. Ford West passed away in 1936. May Milloy lived to be 92 years old. She died in Santa Barbara, California, on November 18, 1967.
