Jarrod Clarence Heston (born June 23, 1986), better known by his stage name Mayne Mannish, is an American rapper. He is famous for being a member of the hip hop group The Team and for his successful solo career.
Mayne Mannish first became known with his group, The Team. They are part of the West Coast hip hop scene and are known for their unique sound in hyphy music, a style of hip hop that started in California's Bay Area.
In 2005, The Team became very popular with their songs "Just Go" and "Bottles Up." These songs helped promote their album World Premiere. The album was a success, reaching number 95 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
Many people also know Mayne Mannish from his song "Slow Down," which was featured in the popular video game Grand Theft Auto V in 2013. Since his time with The Team, he has released many of his own songs and has worked with famous artists like E-40, John Hart, and Eric Bellinger.
