James Ratliff (born May 13, 1979), known by his stage name Husalah, is an American rapper. He started his music career in a group from Pittsburg, California, called the Mob Figaz. Their first album came out in 1999.
Husalah was a close friend of the late rapper The Jacka. Like his friend, Husalah is a Muslim, and his faith is often a theme in his songs. He has released several solo albums and has also worked on many projects with other artists.

Musical Journey
Husalah first became known as a member of the hip hop group Mob Figaz. The group's first album, C-Bo's Mob Figaz, was released in 1999. It was a success and appeared at number 63 on the Billboard Hip Hop chart, which tracks the most popular music in the country.
In 2006, Husalah released his first solo album, titled ..., ..., and Religion. It was a popular album in the San Francisco Bay Area hip hop scene. Over the years, Husalah has worked with many famous rappers, including E-40, Too Short, Paul Wall, and Lil B.
