Quincy Adams Brooks, who is better known by his stage name San Quinn, is an American rapper from San Francisco, California. A rapper is an artist who performs hip hop music. He is related to other musicians, including his cousins Messy Marv, Stevie Johnson, and Ya Boy.

Early Life and First Steps in Music
San Quinn was born in Oakland. When he was three years old, his family moved to the Fillmore District in San Francisco, where he grew up. He went to George Washington High School.
He became interested in music at a young age. When he was only 12, he performed as an opening act for the famous rapper 2Pac and the group Digital Underground. An opening act is a performer who plays before the main star of a show. He was just 15 years old when he recorded his first album.
Music Career
Besides making music on his own, San Quinn is part of a San Francisco rap group called Get Low Playaz. The other members of the group are JT The Bigga Figga, D-Moe, and Seff Tha Gaffla.
One of San Quinn's most famous songs is "Shock the Party." For this track, he used a small part, or a sample, from the song "One Love" by the group Whodini's. The music video for "Shock the Party" was filmed in his home neighborhood of Fillmore.
