McCord is a community located in Osage County, Oklahoma, in the United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area identified by the U.S. Census Bureau for collecting statistics, but it doesn't have its own city government.
In 2020, about 1,418 people lived in McCord. This number was a bit lower than in 2010, when 1,440 people lived there. In 2000, the population was 1,711.
Geography
McCord is located right next to the southern part of Ponca City. It is in the state of Oklahoma.
The United States Census Bureau reports that McCord covers a total area of about 4.4 square miles (11.35 square kilometers). Almost all of this area is land. Only a very small part, about 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometers), is water.
