Megyn Price is an American actress. She is well-known for her roles in TV shows like Grounded for Life (2001–05), where she played Claudia Finnerty. She also starred as Audrey Bingham in Rules of Engagement (2007–13) and Mary Roth in The Ranch (2016–2020).

Early Life and Education

Megyn Price was born in Seattle, Washington. She grew up in a religious family. When she was in high school in Norman, Oklahoma, she wrote and produced a play. Even though she enjoyed it, she didn't think acting would be a good career choice.

She went to Stanford University to study economics and communication. While there, she kept acting in school plays. She also performed at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. After working for a year as an investment banker, Megyn decided to follow her passion and become an actress.

Acting Career

Megyn Price started her acting journey in the early 1990s. Her first TV appearance was in an episode of Quantum Leap. She also made guest appearances in other popular shows like Saved by the Bell: The New Class, The Drew Carey Show, and Will & Grace.

Early TV Roles

In 1996, she had a main role in the comedy series Common Law. From 1998 to 1999, she was the lead actress in another sitcom called LateLine on NBC. She also appeared in movies, including Mystery, Alaska and Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector.

Popular Sitcoms

From 2001 to 2005, Megyn Price starred as Claudia Finnerty in Grounded for Life. This was a comedy series on The WB network.

Later, she became famous for playing Audrey Bingham in the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement. In this show, she starred alongside Patrick Warburton and David Spade. She even directed one episode of the show! Rules of Engagement ran for seven seasons and 100 episodes.

Recent Work

After Rules of Engagement ended in 2013, Megyn Price appeared in the TV movie A Country Christmas Story. In 2016, she joined the cast of the Netflix comedy series The Ranch. In this show, she played Mary Roth, a recurring character. She also made a guest appearance in Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2020.

Personal Life

Megyn Price lives in Montecito, California, with her husband, Edward Cotner. He is an emergency physician. They have one daughter together.
