Melanie was born in Jakarta. Her parents are Habibuddin and Nelwetis. She went to the London School of Public Relations in Jakarta. This school helped her learn skills for her future career.

Melanie's Journey to Puteri Indonesia

In 2002, Melanie won the Puteri Indonesia title. This was a big achievement for her. After winning, she became very busy with many social activities. She used her new role to help others.

She also had the chance to meet Oxana Fedorova. Oxana was Miss Universe 2002 at that time. They visited the famous Borobudur temple together. Melanie and Oxana also met the President of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri. They met at the President's home, Istana Negara.

Melanie's Family Life

Melanie married Angga Puradiredja on March 7, 2010. Angga is a member of a popular Indonesian jazz band called Maliq & D'Essentials. Their wedding reception was held in Jakarta.

Melanie and Angga welcomed their son, Sheemar Rahman Puradiredja, on January 27, 2011. Melanie and Angga later divorced in January 2019. Melanie married Aldico Sapardan in 2022.
