Melila is a small village located in the Kollam district of Kerala, India. It sits along the road connecting Vettikkavala and Elampal. This village is known for its beautiful green rubber plantations that stretch across the land.

A special place in Melila is the Melila temple, which is a popular Hindu worship center for people in the area. If you want to visit, the closest main highway is National Highway 744 (India) near Kunnicode. The nearest train station is Auvaneeswaram railway station.

Melila has also been a filming spot for movies! Some Malayalam films, like Mutharamkunnu P.O. and Kottaram Veettile Apputtan, have used the village as a background for their stories.
