Mentone is a small town in Kosciusko County, Indiana, in the United States. It's often called the "Egg Basket of the Midwest" because so many eggs are produced there.
Every year in early June, Mentone holds an "Egg Festival" to celebrate its history. You can even see a giant concrete egg near the town center! Many people in the area believe it's the "Largest Egg in the World."
The Lawrence D. Bell Aircraft Museum is also located in Mentone. This museum is a great place to learn about airplanes and helicopters. The Popular Rotorcraft Association has its main base at the PRA Mentone Airport (C92). They also hold their yearly fly-in convention there.

Mentone was officially planned out in 1882. It was probably named after a town called Menton in France. The Mentone post office, which handles mail for the town, was set up in the same year, 1882.
