Mesut Kurtis (Turkish: Mesut Kurtiş; Arabic: مسعود كُرتش) is a popular singer from North Macedonia. He has Turkish roots. Mesut Kurtis is known for his inspiring music. He sings songs called nasheeds, which are often about faith and peace. He works with Awakening Records, a music company. So far, he has released four main albums and one mini album.

Mesut Kurtis: Early Life and Learning
Mesut Kurtis was born in Skopje, which is the capital city of North Macedonia. His parents are Turkish. From a young age, he showed a great interest in music.
His Studies and Family
Mesut Kurtis went to college in Skopje. Later, he moved to the UK to continue his education. He studied Human Sciences at the European Institute of Human Sciences. He also learned about Islamic Law and Jurisprudence there. His family is very religious and scholarly. Both his father and grandfather were fluent in Classical Arabic.
Mesut Kurtis: His Music Career
Mesut Kurtis loved Islamic nasheeds from a very young age. Nasheeds are songs that often use voices and sometimes light instruments. He joined different nasheed groups in Macedonia. These groups performed locally and also traveled to other countries, like Turkey. His music style is a mix of different sounds. It includes Sufi music, Turkish classical, Arabic music, and European music styles.
First Albums and Popularity
In May 2004, Mesut Kurtis released his first album called Salawat. Awakening Records produced this album. It had songs in Arabic, Turkish, and English. People all over the world liked it a lot. His first music video, "Al‐Burdah," was filmed in Turkey. This video helped him become even more popular.
His second album, Beloved, came out in June 2009. Then, his third album, Tabassam, was released on July 7, 2014. Mesut Kurtis is very talented with languages. He sings in Arabic, English, Macedonian, and Turkish. He can also speak five different languages!

Mesut Kurtis uses his music to help people in need. He often takes part in charity concerts.
- On April 14, 2012, he joined a charity concert called "Send A Little Hope." This event was in London. Other singers like Hamza Namira and Maher Zain were also there. They worked with Awakening Records and Save An Orphan. The concert helped raise over £175,000 for charity.
- On April 21, 2012, Mesut Kurtis performed in Sharjah City. This concert aimed to teach young people about disability issues. It also showed how important it is to volunteer.
- In 2014, he was part of the "Sound of Light" tour. This tour raised money for people in Gaza. A concert in Bradford, England, collected £520,000.
