Michael Buckley, born on August 16, 1969, is a popular American author. He writes exciting books for young readers. Some of his most famous series are The Sisters Grimm and N.E.R.D.S.. He also helped create the cartoon show Robotomy.

Michael Buckley's Writing Career
After moving to New York City, Michael Buckley started working in television. He worked on documentaries and even had an internship for a famous TV show. Later, he began writing books.
His books are published by Harry N. Abrams. Before becoming a full-time author, he worked as a TV writer. Michael Buckley first thought of The Sisters Grimm as a TV show. However, his wife suggested he turn it into a book series instead. This idea led to his very popular books.
Animated TV Shows
In 2010, Michael Buckley and his writing partner, Joe Deasy, created an animated series. This show was called Robotomy and aired on Cartoon Network. It ran for one season. Buckley and Deasy were the main producers and writers for the first season. Famous voice actors like Patton Oswalt and Dana Snyder were part of the show.
