Michael Dapaah is a British actor, rapper, and comedian. He was born on August 10, 1991. He is most famous for playing a funny character called Big Shaq. Big Shaq is also known as Roadman Shaq.
Michael Dapaah is also known for his show SWIL (Somewhere in London). This show is a mockumentary, which means it's like a documentary but it's actually a comedy. SWIL follows four characters as they try to become successful.

Michael Dapaah's Early Life
Michael Dapaah was born in 1991 in Croydon, a part of south London. His parents were immigrants from Ghana. When he was growing up, his parents hoped he would study science and become a doctor.
However, Michael was much more interested in acting and comedy. He also spent some time living in South Africa when he was a child. He later studied film, acting, and theatre at Brunel University London. He also took a course at the National Youth Theatre.

Michael Dapaah started his career by gaining many followers online. He became popular in the British-African community. This was thanks to his short comedy roles in shows like Meet the Adebanjos. This show was about a Nigerian family living in London.
Starting SWIL on YouTube
In May 2017, Michael Dapaah and his friend Marv Brown launched a mockumentary series. They put the show on YouTube. It was called SWIL (Somewhere in London). The first series quickly got over 1 million views! In this series, Michael Dapaah created his famous characters, MC Quakez and Big Shaq.
In 2020, Michael Dapaah also began working on a fitness show. It was called "Belly Must Go."
The Viral Hit: "Man's Not Hot"
Michael Dapaah became very famous very quickly after appearing on a radio show. He was on Charlie Sloth's "Fire in the Booth" show on BBC Radio 1Xtra. His funny rap song, "Man's Not Hot", became a huge hit.
The song used music from a popular track called "Let's Lurk." "Man's Not Hot" quickly became a viral Internet meme. A studio version of the song was released on September 22, 2017. Michael Dapaah released the music video for the song on October 26, 2017. The video featured famous artists like Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Yachty, and DJ Khaled. DJ Khaled even called Michael Dapaah's character a "legend"!
