Michael Dapaah is a talented British actor, rapper, and comedian. He was born on August 10, 1991. He is most famous for playing his funny character, Big Shaq, who is also known as Roadman Shaq. Michael Dapaah is also known for a show he created called SWIL (Somewhere in London). This show is like a fake documentary that follows four characters trying to become successful.

Early Life and Education
Michael Dapaah was born in 1991 in Croydon, a part of south London. His parents were immigrants from Ghana. When he was growing up, his parents hoped he would study science and become a doctor. However, Michael was always more interested in acting and comedy. He also spent some of his childhood in South Africa.
He went on to study film, acting, and theatre at Brunel University. He also took a special course at the National Youth Theatre, which helps young people learn about performing.
Michael Dapaah's Career
Michael Dapaah started his career by making funny short videos. These videos became very popular, especially within the British-African community. He also had small comedy roles in shows like Meet the Adebanjos, which is about a Nigerian family living in London.
Starting "Somewhere in London"
In May 2017, Michael Dapaah and his friend Marv Brown launched a mockumentary series on YouTube. It was called SWIL, which stands for "Somewhere in London". This show quickly became very popular, getting over a million views for its first season. In SWIL, Michael Dapaah created his famous characters, MC Quakez and Big Shaq.
In 2020, Michael Dapaah also started working on a fitness show called "Belly Must Go".
The Hit Song "Man's Not Hot"
Michael Dapaah became even more famous very quickly after appearing on Charlie Sloth's radio show "Fire in the Booth" on BBC Radio 1Xtra. During this show, he performed a funny rap song called "Man's Not Hot".
This song quickly became a huge viral meme. People loved the funny lyrics and the character of Big Shaq. A studio version of the song was officially released on September 22, 2017. The music video for "Man's Not Hot" came out on October 26 of the same year. The video featured famous artists like Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Yachty, and DJ Khaled, who even called Big Shaq a "legend."
