Playing for the Cincinnati Bengals
Michael Jordan was picked by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft. This means he was the 136th player chosen overall.
In his first year, 2019, he started nine games as a left guard. He continued to be a starter in 2020, playing in ten games. In August 2021, the Bengals decided to let him go.
Time with the Carolina Panthers
After leaving the Bengals, Michael Jordan was quickly picked up by the Carolina Panthers in September 2021. He was later moved to their practice squad, which is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster. He was then brought back to the main team in October 2021.
One exciting moment happened in the last game of the 2022 season. Michael Jordan recovered a fumbled ball in the end zone. This play resulted in a touchdown that tied the game against the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers went on to win that game 10–7.
He signed again with the Panthers in May 2023 but was released in August of that year.
