The feud started a long time ago, in 1402. That's when the Irvines fought and defeated a group of Keiths. This happened at the Battle of Drumoak. To end the feud, Lord Kintore shook hands with David Irvine of Drum. David Irvine was the chief of Clan Irvine. They also signed a peace treaty.
