Michael "Michel" Pfeiffer (born 19 July 1925 – died 2 January 2018) was a German professional football player and manager. He was born in Eschweiler, Germany. Pfeiffer was known for his skills as a midfielder. He played for several teams during his career. After retiring as a player, he became a football manager.

Playing Career
Pfeiffer started his football journey in 1934. He played for SG Eschweiler until 1949. This was his youth club. Later, he joined Alemannia Aachen in 1949. He played there for a long time, until 1958. During his time at Alemannia Aachen, he became a well-known player. He also played for Rot-Weiss Essen from 1958 to 1961. His last club as a player was Fortuna 54 Geleen, where he played from 1961 to 1963. In 1954, he even played one game for the West Germany national team.
Coaching Career
After his playing days, Michael Pfeiffer became a football manager. He coached many different clubs. His first managing job was with Roda JC Kerkrade from 1963 to 1965. He also managed Sittardia and SC Schwenningen.
Pfeiffer returned to Alemannia Aachen as a manager twice. He coached them from 1967 to 1969. He came back again from 1973 to 1974. He also managed FK Pirmasens and Austria Salzburg. Other clubs he coached include SV Arminia Gütersloh, SV Baesweiler 09, BSV Schwenningen, and TuS Langerwehe. Later in his career, he coached teams outside Germany. He managed Sporting Jeddah and CS Sfax.
Michael Pfeiffer passed away on 2 January 2018. He was 92 years old. He left behind a legacy in German and international football.
