Michał Żyro is a Polish football expert and former professional player. He was born on September 20, 1992. He played as a forward, which means he was usually trying to score goals for his team. After he stopped playing football, he became a co-commentator and pundit for a TV channel called Canal+. He helps explain football games to viewers.
Żyro played for many different football clubs. These include Legia Warsaw, Korona Kielce, Pogoń Szczecin, Stal Mielec, Piast Gliwice, Jagiellonia Białystok, and Wisła Kraków in Poland. He also played for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic in England.

Playing for Clubs
Michał Żyro started playing football when he was young. He spent five years at a youth team called KS Piaseczno. When he was 13, he joined the youth academy of Legia Warsaw, a big club in Poland.
Legia Warsaw Years
At 17, Michał moved up to the senior team at Legia Warsaw. He played for six years with the main team. During this time, he scored 13 goals in 96 matches. He helped Legia Warsaw win several important trophies.
Moving to England
On December 24, 2015, Michał Żyro signed a contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers, a club in England. He officially joined them on January 2, 2016.
He played his first game for Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 9, 2016, in an FA Cup match. Just a few days later, on January 12, he scored his first two goals for the club! This happened in a league game against Fulham, which Wolves won 3-2. He scored another goal soon after against Cardiff City.
Dealing with Injuries
After scoring his third goal, Michał got a calf injury. This kept him out of the game for about six weeks. Then, on April 6, he suffered a very serious knee injury during a game. This injury was so bad that it kept him from playing for almost 17 months!
He finally returned to playing football on August 23, 2017. He came on as a substitute in a game against Southampton.
Loan Moves and Later Clubs
In January 2018, Michał joined Charlton Athletic on loan. Later that year, in August 2018, he went on loan to Pogoń Szczecin in Poland.
After his loan spells, Żyro joined Korona Kielce in June 2019. He continued to play for various Polish clubs, including Stal Mielec, Piast Gliwice, Jagiellonia Białystok, and Wisła Kraków, before ending his professional playing career.
Personal Life
Michał Żyro has a younger brother named Mateusz Żyro. Mateusz was born in 1998 and is also a professional football player.
