Michelle Chia (born September 19, 1975) is a famous TV host, actress, and businesswoman from Singapore. She worked full-time for a company called Mediacorp from 1980 to 2012. Even after that, she still takes on acting jobs sometimes.

Michelle Chia's Early Life and Career
Michelle Chia went to Raffles Girls' Primary School and Bowen Secondary School when she was younger.
Starting as a Child Actress
Michelle began her acting journey as a child with SBC. After finishing school, she joined TCS, which later became MediaCorp. In 2000, she moved to another company called SPH MediaWorks. However, she returned to MediaCorp when it took over MediaWorks. In May 2012, Michelle decided to take a break from the entertainment world. She chose not to renew her contract with MediaCorp at that time.

In 2018, Michelle Chia shared in an interview that she had invested in different businesses while she was still acting full-time. She was a partner in a hair salon called Monsoon Hair Salon. She also owned a company that focused on investments. This shows she is not just an entertainer but also a smart businesswoman.

In May 2009, Michelle Chia married Shaun Chen. They had been dating for six years before getting married. On April 28, 2011, they announced they were getting a divorce. They said it was because of "personality differences." Their divorce was finalized in October 2011.
