Michiel Kramer (born on December 3, 1988) is a professional football player from the Netherlands. He plays as a forward for the Dutch club RKC Waalwijk. A forward's main job is to score goals. Michiel has played for several other teams, including NAC Breda, FC Volendam, ADO Den Haag, Feyenoord, Sparta Rotterdam, Maccabi Haifa, and FC Utrecht.
Michiel Kramer's Football Journey
Michiel Kramer was born in Rotterdam, a city in the Netherlands. He started his professional football career by joining FC Volendam in June 2009, after playing for NAC Breda.
Playing for FC Volendam
Michiel scored his first goal for FC Volendam on December 4, 2009. This happened in an away game against FC Emmen, which Volendam won 4–2. In that match, Kramer scored three goals, which is called a hat-trick!
Time at ADO Den Haag
In 2013, Kramer moved to ADO Den Haag. He had a great season in 2014, scoring 11 goals in just 17 matches. This showed how good he was at finding the back of the net.
Joining Hometown Club Feyenoord
On August 7, 2015, Michiel Kramer signed a contract with Feyenoord. This was special for him because Feyenoord is his hometown club, and he had supported them since he was a child. He made his first appearance for Feyenoord on August 16, 2015. He came into the game as a substitute and scored the first goal, helping Feyenoord win 2–0. He left Feyenoord on February 1, 2018.
Short Spell at Sparta Rotterdam
After leaving Feyenoord, Kramer joined Sparta Rotterdam on February 12, 2018. His contract was ended early on April 19, 2018. This happened after he received a red card during a game against Vitesse for an unfair play. This red card led to him being suspended for seven games, meaning he missed the rest of the season. He played eight games for Sparta Rotterdam and scored two goals.
Playing in Israel with Maccabi Haifa
On May 30, 2018, Michiel Kramer moved to Maccabi Haifa F.C. in the Israeli Premier League. He played a few games for the Israeli team before returning to the Netherlands.
Back to the Netherlands: FC Utrecht
On January 23, 2019, Kramer returned to the Netherlands and signed with FC Utrecht as a free agent. This means he joined the club without a transfer fee.
Second Time at ADO Den Haag
In July 2019, Michiel Kramer went back to ADO Den Haag, signing a two-year contract. He played for them again until 2021.
Current Club: RKC Waalwijk
On July 20, 2021, Kramer joined RKC Waalwijk, another team in the Eredivisie (the top football league in the Netherlands). He joined them on a free transfer and continues to play for them today. As of July 2025, he has played over 100 games for RKC Waalwijk and scored many goals.
