Micoud District is one of the 10 main areas, called districts, on the beautiful Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia. The main town in this district is also called Micoud.
In 2002, about 16,143 people lived in the district. By 2010, the population had grown slightly to 16,284 people. A smaller area called Praslin used to be a separate "quarter" (an old name for district), but it's now part of Micoud District.
