Midden-Delfland is a special area in the Netherlands. It is a municipality, which is like a local government area. It is located in the province of South Holland. Many people live here, and it has a mix of land and water.
This municipality was created on January 1, 2004. It was formed by joining two smaller municipalities: Maasland and Schipluiden. Maasland had about 6,844 people and Schipluiden had about 11,173 people before they merged.
