Michael Kerry McFarland (born August 22, 1985), known as Mike Bleed Da BlockStarr, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is famous for his unique music style.

Mike Bleed's Music Journey

Michael started his music career in 1999. Back then, he used the name Camaro Callione. A mentor named Walter McCallon helped him get his first big chance. Michael sang the chorus on McCallon's song "Toss It Up."

Changing His Stage Name

Later, Michael changed his stage name to Michael Carlione. This was a nickname given to him by a friend of his father. In 2008, he got his first big break as a solo artist. His song "BlockStarr" became very popular.

Big Breaks and New Styles

"BlockStarr" led to a performance on BET's 106 & Park. He also received an offer for a record deal from Universal Republic. The music video for "BlockStarr" was shown on MTV2.

After taking a break from music for four years, Michael changed his name again. He became Mike Bleed Da BlockStarr. This new name matched his own music style, which he calls HipRock & RnBleed.

Popular Songs and Achievements

His song "Dats My Team" became very popular in 2012. It was a theme song for the New Orleans Saints football team. Mike Bleed has released many songs on his own. These include "Burn Out," "Losing It," and "I Keep A Bag." He releases music through his own company, BlockStarr Incorporated. In 2015, he became a voting member of the Recording Academy. This group is known for the Grammy Awards.
