Michael Barry Eastwood (born July 1, 1967) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played for 13 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). Eastwood was a centre for several teams, including the Toronto Maple Leafs and the St. Louis Blues.

Playing Career Highlights
Early Hockey Days
When he was a kid, Mike Eastwood played in the 1979 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. He was part of a youth hockey team from South Ottawa. This tournament is a big event for young hockey players.
Drafted and College Years
The Toronto Maple Leafs picked Eastwood in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. He was the 91st player chosen overall. After being drafted, he played four seasons for Western Michigan University. He played college hockey in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA).
During his time at Western Michigan, he played 164 games. He scored 69 goals and made 80 assists, totaling 149 points. His best college season was his last one. In that year, he scored 29 goals and had 32 assists in 42 games.
Becoming an NHL Player
In 1991, Eastwood started playing professional hockey. However, it took him two more years to become a regular player in the National Hockey League (NHL).
In 1995, Eastwood was traded to the Winnipeg Jets. This trade was for another player named Tie Domi. After this, Eastwood played for many different teams throughout his career.
He played a total of 783 NHL games. In these games, he scored 87 goals and made 149 assists. This gave him a total of 236 points. His best season in the NHL was in 1999–2000. During that season, he scored 19 goals and had 15 assists, reaching 34 points.
Life After Playing Hockey
Radio and Coaching
After Mike Eastwood retired from playing hockey in 2004, he stayed involved with the sport. Sports radio shows in the Ottawa area often asked for his thoughts on the NHL.
He used to co-host post-game shows for the Ottawa Senators hockey team. He has also appeared in radio commercials for local restaurants. Currently, he works as an Assistant Coach for the Ottawa 67's. This team plays in the Ontario Hockey League.

Family Life
In June 2020, Mike Eastwood's niece, Lindsay Eastwood, signed her first professional contract. She joined the Toronto Six, which was the first Canadian expansion team in the NWHL. Lindsay scored her first professional goal against Amanda Leveille. This goal was the first ever for the Six franchise. Emma Woods and Shiann Darkangelo helped her score this historic goal.
