Early Life and Learning
Mike Mukula was born in Soroti, a town in the Eastern Region of Uganda, on August 27, 1956. He went to local schools in Uganda when he was younger. Later, he moved to Nairobi, Kenya, to attend the Kenya School of Flying at Wilson Airport.
He continued his pilot training in the United States. From 2000 to 2001, he studied at the IDF Military Colleges, where he learned about Counterterrorism, which is about how to stop terrorism. He also spent time at the Harvard Kennedy School from 2004 to 2005. There, he focused on how governments can make political and economic changes.
