Michael Rene Taylor, born on January 21, 1986, is an American who used to play professional basketball. He played college basketball for two schools: Chipola College and Iowa State.
Mike started his pro career with the Idaho Stampede in the NBA Development League (now called the G-League) in 2007. The Portland Trail Blazers picked him in the 2008 NBA draft. He was the 55th player chosen. This was special because he was the first player ever drafted into the National Basketball Association (NBA) directly from the D-League! He was then traded to the Los Angeles Clippers and played for them during the 2008-09 season. Mike also played basketball in many countries around the world, like China, Greece, Italy, and South Korea.
