Early Years at Zemun

Moving to Rad and Mersin İdmanyurdu

In the summer of 2010, Mitrović moved to another Serbian club, Rad. His first official match for Rad was an away game against Partizan, which they lost 0–3. He continued to develop his skills at Rad.

In early 2013, Mitrović made a big move to Turkey. He joined the Turkish club Mersin İdmanyurdu and signed a contract for three and a half years. He played for Mersin İdmanyurdu for over four years. During his time there, he played in nearly 150 matches across different competitions, including league and cup games.

Time with Partizan and Other Clubs

After his time in Turkey, Mitrović became a free agent in the summer of 2017. This happened after Mersin İdmanyurdu was relegated to the third tier of Turkish football. On August 29, 2017, he returned to Serbia and signed a three-year contract with Partizan. He was given the number 30 jersey.
