Millen is a small, quiet place in Hampshire County, West Virginia, United States. It is called an unincorporated community. This means it is a group of homes and buildings that does not have its own official town or city government. Millen is located between two other places: Donaldson and Green Spring.
Where is Millen?
Millen is found along Green Spring Road. This road is also known as West Virginia Secondary Route 1. The South Branch Valley Railroad also passes through this area.
Natural Surroundings
Millen is nestled in a beautiful area called Green Spring Valley. A small stream, Green Spring Run, flows through the valley. The community is surrounded by hills and mountains. To one side is Green Spring Ridge, which is about 881 feet (268 meters) high. On the other side is Valley Mountain, which is much taller at 1,437 feet (438 meters).
